Re:Swine Flu

As a precaution, a memorandum was sent all employees by the President of our organization alterting all employees of the seriousness of Swine Flu. The memo included a link to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and a statement advising that if you are sick - stay home to protect fellow employees and their families.

As a risk management tool, I have subscribed to receive email updates from the CDC for many years and have found the CDC t to be a source of reliable information. I learned about the Swine Flu early on from the CDC when the first case broke out and have continued to monitor. The link to the CDC is www.cdc.com.

As leaders in the interior cleaning, maintenance and restoration industry in the greater Portland, OR area, our company developed and then rolled out an H1N1 cleaning protocol and turn-key trauma cleanup service to a variety of potential end-users in our area. Response was very positive as we weren't simply offering our services to clean up after a potentially hazardous event; we are also offering training for facilities maintenance professionals at all levels to handle these issues in-house where appropriate. Check us out at www.benchmarkrestores.com for further information on this and other services.
