I will either be starting a new managment company of my own or working with my present Real Estate Company who would like to sent up a property management company.
If I start my own company what type of Attorney do I seek for setting up the right company, LLC/ Corp/ etc.?

There are a couple of steps to take with this ... first, for general corporation work, any business or tax attorney can assist you with this function. First, you might want to seek advise from a CPA or financial planner as to which sort of Corp you would want. If you are starting the bsiness as a part of an existing brokerage or inconjunction with that broker, you would want to have worked all of this out with them as well. Next, you will need a real estate attorney that specializes in landlord/tenant law to assist you with all of your forms, policices and procedures. This same attorney migh give you a better price if you use the same attorney or law firm for your eviction work as well.
Good luck!

I agree with Michael, an attorney who specializes in Real Estate with plenty of experience can become a viable source to assist you in establishing your business. This Organization, IREM has many helpful accounting resources to use, of course.
