Scholarships
For those pursuing a college education and in need of financial assistance, a variety of scholarship support is available. Of special note are scholarships awarded by the IREM Foundation for undergraduate and graduate students who have declared a major in real estate or, if the college has no real estate major, a major in a related field.
Providing up to $2,500 for undergraduate students and $5,000 for graduate students are these programs:
- IREM Foundation Collegiate Scholarship – supports the study of real estate at the collegiate level and promotes careers in real estate management
- George M. Brooker, CPM, Diversity Collegiate Scholarship – supports the study of real estate at the college level among underrepresented population groups
Detailed information about the scholarship programs and the applications can be found at www.iremfoundation.org.
You also are urged to check other organizations, schools, the Internet, and companies for additional scholarships.
